The Group trip is a daily guided excursion that is designed for everyone. It allows one to paddle down the Bonaventure River without ever having to get wet, since our voyageur canoes can take up to 10 people at a time and benefit from a surprising stability.
Whether you have very young children or health concerns, the guide’s supervision makes this ride ideal for you. Canoeing will have never been that easy. All our guides are certified and trained in order to ensure your safety. They will also initiate you to the hidden treasures of the Bonaventure River and to the many riches of Gaspésie.
Detailed Programme
- Arrival at Cime Aventures 30 minutes prior to the departure on the rive
- Security, technical and environmental briefing will be given to you prior to the put-in;
- Voyageur canoe ride of 2 hours
- Shuttle to Cime Aventures

At all time, for a group of 6 people or more. Those reservations must be made by phone.
We can pair you with other guests if your group is less than 6 people.
Safety
Who can participate?
- This activity is designed for literally anyone
- Any person with a reduced mobility must inform Cime Aventures ahead of time in order for us to prepare the activity accordingly and to ensure your safety and comfort.
Supervision
The guide/participant ratio is of 1 per 10 or less. All our guides are minimally certified with their level II from Quebec’s Adventure and Ecotourism Association (AEQ) and are equipped with a satellite phone while on the river.
The trip’s level of difficulty
This trip does not present any particular difficulty. All participants have the choice of paddling or simply admiring their surroundings: our guide will take care of the rest. This trip is run in a level 1-2 zone (very safe).
Departure policies
The activity will always take place in case of rain. Nevertheless, Cime Aventures will cancel the trip in case of a thunderstorm.
- In the case of exceptional circumstances, the trip can be modified or cancelled in order to ensure the group’s safety (in that case, the activity can be postponed or reimbursed).
Required Gear
- Weather-appropriate apparel (raincoat if necessary, avoid cotton)
- Hat or cap and/or sunglasses (use a string to avoid losing your glasses)
- Sunscreen
- Bathing suit and towel
- Camera (optional)
